About Tara's

Robert T. Julian Sr.
The late Robert T. Julian Sr. (Bob) was the founder of Tara's Fried Dough.  The name "Tara" originated from his daughter and has stuck ever since.  One of the first "Food Trucks" in New England was owned and operated by Bob.  Operating out of a modified box truck Tara's Fried Dough hit the road and never looked back. Bob and his son Robert T. Julian Jr. (Rob), traveled throughout New England together operating at various carnivals and fairs.

Although the business has grown and evolved, the legacy continues to roll on through Bob's Grandson Robert T. Julian III (RJ).  RJ was named after his grandfather, and was born just weeks before the passing of his grandfather.  Family is still the core to Tara's Fried Doughs success and will continue to be for generations to come.
